Bronze Halbert Composed of Dagger and Spear in Qin Dynasty

The dagger and spear of this ancient weapon are put together to facilitate forward stab and horizontal attack. Inscriptions on the halbert indicate that it was made in 240 BC, the seventh year of Emperor Ying Zheng’s reign. It’s unearthed from the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in Lintong county, Shaanxi province. Of the six terra cotta warriors in the Military Museum, three are authentic ones unearthed in 1980. They are provided by the archaeological team of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor of Shaanxi province.
