It is a military musical instrument. In the battle it is mounted on the vehicle and hammered to boost the soldiers’ morale. This cymbal features animal face patterns. Each cymbal can produce one or two notes, which can be combined into music. This artifact was unearthed from Ningxiang township, Hunan province.
