During the Battle of Southern Shandong in January 1947, the Shandong and Central China Field Army annihilated KMT’s 26th Division and 1st Fast Column, which were armed with American equipment, and seized this light tank. It was later put into the tank force of East China Field Army and participated in the Jinan Campaign and Huaihai Campaign.

It was transferred to the Military Museum in 1959.
