Zhang Wentian used this pistol during the War of Resistance.It was manufactured by Mauser in Germany in 1934 and a follow-on of M1914 Mauser pistol. M1934 pistol was commonly known in China as “Zhangkoudeng”. The pistol was kept by the Security Office of the Central Guard Bureau after Zhang Wentian passed away in 1976.
The Security Office of the Central Guard Bureau transferred it to the Military Museum in 1980.
